Chinese New Year Celebration...

We had a Chinese New Year Celebration at Sweet's House (Sweet= Frederick= Boss)

The first Open House of our Boss was last February 1, 2009 (Sunday). We arrived at our meeting place in Shell Menglait around 6:45 p.m. but still we waited for Thelma up until 7:15 p.m. We arrived at our Boss house at around 7:30. We stayed at his cozy living room. There are alot of guests who arrived. We ate our dinner then we had a videoke session. Then they also had a Dragon Dance inside the house. While we were all having fun, Howlger (son of Boss) gave us some drinks but we didn't want to take so when Elvin (IT Manager) so it, he forcefully gave us one cup of Red Wine each. I gave the half of my drink to Lindon and he spill it in the toilet while mitch and jobs drank their red wine. When we had almost finish our wine, we decided to have a toast. Mitch and Jobs were dizzy after that. We left our Boss house around 9 p.m.



Not all UST-UEE Staff went to our Boss Open House so he held another Open House on the 6th of February Friday. I was halfday back then so I was at home early, at around 4:30 when my baby message me to inform me that they went home early from work, but they still need to go to my fathers house to pick him up. Our car was broken that time so my father ask my bf to pick him up. But, an unexpectded incident occur. The car of my fathers boss had break down in Gadong so he need to go there and help his boss.. so my bf and 2 of my friends waited for my father until 6:00 p.m. My bf arrived home around 6:15 then he went home first to change his clothes. Thelma called me on my mobile phone to ask me where I was.



At around 7 when I, my bf and 2 friends arrived in Frederick's place. As ussual we ate our dinner then we had videoke sessions. I, Mitch and Jobelle stayed at the cozy living room of Frederick that we didn't realize that it was only the 3 of us were left inside the room. When some more visitors arrived, that's the time that we realized that all our other officemates including my bf were missing coz I only thought that my bf just went to the toilet. So I decided to message him and asked him where he was. He fetch us inside the room and we went outside the veranda where our officemates are. Then Howard (son of our boss) tour us inside their house. After that, I, my bf, mitch and jobelle had some picture taking sessions and around 9 when we went home.

Things to Ponder...

Each person who enters our life has a unique lesson to teach us. And it is only through these lessons that we learn about life, people, relationships and God.

When someone lies to you, it teaches you that things are not always as they seem. The truth is often far beneath the surface. Look beyond the masks people wear if you want to know their heart. And remove your own masks to let people know yours.

When someone steals from you, it teaches you that nothing is forever. Always appreciate what you have, for you never know when you might lose it. And never ever take your friends and family for granted because today is the only guarantee you have.

When someone inflicts an injury upon you, it teaches you that the human state is a fragile one. Protect and take care of your body as best you can; it's the only thing you are sure to have forever.

When someone mocks you, it teaches you that no two people are alike. When you encounter people who are different from you, don't judge them by how they look or act; instead base your opinion on the contents of their heart.

When someone breaks your heart, it teaches you that loving someone does not always mean that person will love you back. But don't turn your back on love because when you find the right person, the joy that one person brings will make up for all the past hurts put together -- times ten!!!!

When someone holds a grudge against you, it teaches you that everyone makes mistakes. When you are wronged, the most virtuous thing you can do is forgive the offender without pretense. Forgiving those who have hurt us is the most difficult and courageous thing
anyone can do.

When a loved one is unfaithful to you, it teaches you that resisting temptation is man's greatest challenge. Be vigilant in your resistance against all temptation. By doing so you, will be rewarded with an enduring sense of satisfaction far greater than the temporary pleasure by which you were tempted.

When someone cheats on you, it teaches you that greed is the root of all evil. Aspire to make your dreams come true, no matter how lofty they may be. Do not feel guilty about our success, but never let an obsession with achieving your goals lead you to engage in malevolent activities.

When someone ridicules you, it teaches you that nobody is perfect. Accept people for their merits and be tolerant of their flaws. Do not ever reject someone for imperfections over which they have no control.

What about lessons to be learned from Man's good deeds?

When someone loves us, it teaches us that love, kindness, charity, honesty, humility, forgiveness and acceptance can counteract all the evil in the world. For every good deed, there is one less evil deed. Man alone has the power to control the balance between good and evil, but because the lessons of love are not taught often enough, the power is too often abused.

When you enter someone's life, whether by plan, chance or coincidence, consider what your lesson will be. Will you teach love or a harsh lesson of reality? When you die, will your life have
resulted in more loving or hurting? More comfort or pain? More joy or sadness?

Each one of us has power over the balance of love in the world. Use it wisely. Don't miss an opportunity to nudge the world's scale in the right direction.

Sicko Licko...

Since yesterday, I am suffering from dry cough... haiz... I feel tired and hot when I woke up today, but I have no ch oice... I have to go to work.. I don't want to take medical leave for I still have alot of things to do.

Gong Xi Fa Cai

I want to greet all my Chinese friends, co-workers, my bosses "Gong Xi Fa Cai"

Yesterday, was the first day of new year for all the chinese. It was holiday here in brunei, so my parents together with my bf and friends decided to go to Seria.

Around 6:30 in the morning when my mom woke me up to ask me to watch over the humba she was cooking and also the barbeque because she is going to Serasa with my father to buy crabs. At around 7 when my bf arrive in our house, he helped me to prepare our things that we will be bringing to Seria then we ate our breakfast.

At around 9:30 when we left our house, we passed by the grocery and the market to buy the other condiments that we needed for our picnic. then off we go to fetch tita mercy on her staff house. We ate alot on our way to Seria, we ate hotdog, oh its cheese dog according to Jobelle, sorry i did not notice that it was a cheese dog bec. i didn't taste any cheese.. hehehe.. We had a stop to Supa Save first to buy roasted chicken. Michelle and Jobelle had a nice time playing around Supa Save, taking pictures of bald foreigners, fruits and even the top down car which is parked at the parking lot. Then we continue our trip to our final stop, the "Anduki Beach"...

When we arrive at the Beach, we arranged our things in the cottage then I, Jobelle and Michelle goof around the beach to take naughty pics. I am the photographer and the director. As well as the Producer, by the way I'm Ms. B and Michelle and Jobelle are my talents. Michelle is an Artist and she has an upcoming movie. The title is "Nilunok ko ang Laway Ko", while Jobelle is a singer and she has an upcoming album that has a title of "Sana Marinig Ko"... hehehe.. just kidding...

After my Lindon (my bf/ bf) is done barbequing the fish, we started to ate out lunch.. wow.. the food was really nice.. inihaw na baboy, ampalaya salad, humba and inihaw na isda.. I really had eaten alot. Then I, my mom, Jobelle and Tita Mercy played Scrabble, Michelle was the Scorer. While we were playing Scrabble, Lindon and my dad slept on the chairs and the others went walking on the beach. I almost won the game but Tita Mercy still had won. It was late already when we finish playing so we started to pack our things.


On our last stop, we went to one of the tourist Spot in brunei which is 1 Billiont Barrel... Ofcourse we take photos, alot of photos... The air was so cool and you could smell the oil coming from the sea. Until it started to rain, so we headed back to the car, and then I, Jobelle and Michelle feels like we want to pee, but the nearest comfort room was in the Anduki Beach, so we went back to the beach. The CR was dark because there is no light, but due to nature calls we have no choice but to pee in the dark toilet. On our way home, I was so tired that I fell asleep.

We reached home safe and sound, we ate dinner, arranged our thins and went to sleep. ~THE END~
